🛡️ Safety & Privacy
Creating a safe, respectful, and professional learning environment is a top priority — whether lessons are online, in your home, or at my studio. Below is a breakdown of what you can expect in each setting, including privacy and recording policies.
Online Classes (Zoom or Google Meet)
Online lessons are naturally a secure option, especially for students or families who prefer learning from home. All online lessons are conducted through private, secure meeting links.
You are welcome to record your sessions for personal review and educational use.
However, these recordings and any lesson content are protected as my intellectual property and may not be shared or published in any form without written consent.
Materials shared during online sessions are created with care and based on years of teaching experience, so I ask that they remain private.
In-Home Lessons
For in-home lessons, I bring everything needed for the class directly to your space, making it a relaxed and convenient experience for everyone.
Students or parents are free to record sessions for personal use.
As with all other formats, recordings and materials are not to be shared or distributed without prior written permission.
Since lessons take place in your home, it naturally provides a comfortable and controlled environment for both student and family.
In-Studio Lessons
In-studio lessons are monitored and recorded from start to finish for safety and quality purposes.
Parents or guardians are welcome to stay and observe at any time, especially for younger children.
You are also encouraged to record sessions for personal use, or simply request a copy of the studio recording if needed.
As always, these recordings and lesson materials are protected and must remain private.
General Safety Protocols
All lesson environments are respectful, inclusive, and judgment-free.
For younger students (especially under age 10), a parent or guardian is encouraged to be nearby or present for all in-person sessions.
All shared files, sheet music, and recordings are handled securely and kept between student and teacher unless otherwise agreed.
Students (or their guardians) may request access to their session notes or recordings at any time.
